Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SentrAI website security intelligence platform at sentrai.co.uk (the “Service”), operated by SentrAI, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SentrAI provides automated external security configuration assessments of websites. Our scans analyse publicly available information including DNS records, HTTP headers, SSL certificates, content security policies, and publicly loaded scripts.

The Service is not a penetration test. We do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, access protected systems, or perform any intrusive testing. Scans are passive and non-destructive.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not use scan results to attack, exploit, or harm the scanned websites or their owners
• Not misrepresent SentrAI scan results as a comprehensive penetration test or security audit
• Not use the Service to harass, intimidate, or extort website owners
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Not resell or redistribute scan results without a valid Agency or Enterprise subscription

You acknowledge that scan results may contain false positives and are provided for informational purposes. You are solely responsible for verifying findings before acting on them. You agree not to publish or distribute scan results in a manner that could damage the reputation of the scanned website's owner without first verifying the findings independently.

3. Scanning Third-Party Domains

The Service analyses publicly available information about websites. You acknowledge that:

• Scans only access information that is publicly visible on the internet
• No authentication credentials are used or requested
• No vulnerability exploitation is attempted
• You take responsibility for how you use and share scan results

4. Accounts and Subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Subscriptions are available on both monthly and annual billing cycles via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Annual billing: Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year. After a 14-day cooling-off period (per the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), no pro-rata refunds are available for annual plans. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not materially used the Service during that period.

5. Free Scan

We offer a free security scan that provides a risk score and a preview of findings. Full reports and ongoing monitoring require a paid plan or one-time report purchase. No credit card is required for the free scan.

6. Free Tier

The free tier provides one scan per month with a preview of findings. Full evidence, fix instructions, and PDF export require a paid subscription.

7. Accuracy and Limitations

Scan results are provided “as is” without warranty. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• External scans cannot detect all security vulnerabilities
• AI-generated interpretations may contain inaccuracies
• Risk scores are advisory and based on publicly visible configuration only
• The Service does not replace professional security assessments, penetration testing, or compliance audits
• We are not responsible for the security of scanned websites

8. Intellectual Property

Scan reports generated for your domains are yours to use and share. The SentrAI platform, scanning methodology, and AI interpretation engine remain our intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SentrAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

SentrAI does not carry professional indemnity insurance. Scan results are advisory only and do not replace professional security audits, penetration testing, or security consulting services. You should not rely solely on SentrAI scan results for compliance, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SentrAI harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days then permanently deleted unless required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
